Nail Technicians:
Texas and California have the highest requirements for Nail Technician certification, requiring 600 hours of training followed by written and practical tests. In addition to this rigorous certification, Hot Nails & Spa have a minimum of 5 years experience. I Certified Podiatric Specialists: Our staff also includes Certified Podiatric Specialists who are trained and experienced to recognize the effects that medical conditions such as diabetes, ingrown nails, psoriasis and thyroid can have on the feet. Our Specialists do not diagnose but can refer you to appropriate podiatrists, dermatologists or orthopedic specialists in the area for consultation. Nevertheless, our Specialists understand the special care and attention these conditions need when administering foot treatments. If you have any of these medical conditions, feel confident that our staff understands and will do whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable. Our Podiatric Specialists are also skilled in attending to the cosmetic needs of clients undergoing chemotherapy.
